100% Whey Protein (2350g)

100% Whey Protein is an excellent quality ultrafiltered whey protein concentrate. Whey protein is considered the king of all bodybuilding proteins. Whey protein has a better amino acid profile and higher (25%) BCAA (leucine, isoleucine, valine) concentration than any other protein source. 100% Whey Protein contains approximately 10% intact immunoglobulin protein microfraction which helps to support the body's immune system. Whey protein also has the ability to enhance endogenous glutathione production. Glutathione is the most powerful naturally occurring anti-oxidant in the body. 100% Whey Protein contains quadrapeptides, which have been shown to have a pain-killing effect, thus your muscle soreness after an intense workout can be decreased. 100% Whey Protein's amino acid profile is excellent, it contains 47.5% so called anabolic amino acids (BCAAs, arginine, glutamine and tyrosine). Whey protein has the highest biological value (BV). 100% Whey Protein has a low percentage of lactose, and is fortified with L-glutamine, the most abundant amino acid in the human muscle.

Directions: 100% Whey Protein can be used with any meal to boost its protein content or alone under special circumstances (diet, before bed, etc.) Depending on your lean mass and nutritional needs, use 1-4 servings daily.

The function of protein involves more than just muscle tissue repair. It includes repair of red blood cells, hair and fingernail growth, regulation of hormone secretion, movement (muscle contraction), digestion, maintenance of the body's water balance, protection against disease, transport of nutrients to and from cells, the carrying of oxygen and regulation of blood clotting. The inescapable fact remains: protein, and only protein, is the raw material from which muscle and many other bodily tissues are built. Proteins themselves are formed from amino-acids, of which there are 20, comprised of both essential and non-essential. Proteins are ranked according to Biological Values (BV), arbitrary numbers given to protein to show comparisons in their availability within the body. At the time the system was introduced eggs were given the highest BV of 100 because they are the most bio-available natural protein. Afterwards whey was isolated from milk and shown to have a higher BV, and depending on the process used can yield a percentage of up to 154 on the scale.
